Position Title: Store Manager
Hours: Full-time 40 hours a week
Pay: $42,000 - $50,000 based on experience + tips
Position Summary:
We are looking for a passionate, motivated individual to join our team as our Store Manager for our Ala Moana Center location! As the Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and maintaining the overall presentation and management of our boutique.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work and manage both the shop retail sector and jewelry bar sector.
- Report directly to the owner and operations manager along with monthly meetings to discuss upcoming sales, events, and any concerns/questions.
- Assist the owner and operations manager in planning and implementing strategies.
- Manage, organize, price, label, conduct quality checks, and double check inventory consistently on all products on the floor and in back stock.
- Keep up with back stock inventory (clothing, jewelry, wholesale) and supplies and perform quality assurance of merchandise on a regular basis.
- Input and process new products into POS.
- Keep track of and update product discrepancies, product pick-ups, theft reports, and other documents to further store efficiency.
- Manage all team members and delegate assisting tasks to team members.
- Coach and support new and existing team members. Assist in the overseeing and delegating of tasks to our team members. Keep team members informed of the latest promotions, updates, news, and policies.
- Provide suggestions and solutions to create an efficient and motivating working environment.
- Assist on any requests related to sales, exchanges, and returns.
- Act as our store’s representative and set an example for our staff.
- Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff.
- In-depth knowledge of the store’s merchandise, its exact locations and prices.
- Ensure the register has a sufficient amount of change and consistently update the cash box tracking spreadsheet.
- Create timeless, modern jewelry pieces for all store locations.
- Execute various jewelry techniques: simple jewelry making, permanent jewelry (welding), etc
- Assist with making online and wholesale jewelry orders.
- Contact customers for any jewelry pick-ups, returns, exchanges, and questions/concerns.
- Give fashion and jewelry advice to best fit customers’ needs.
- Be able to perform all store opening and closing duties independently.
- Must be able to cover for shifts.
- Execute creative showroom displays for merchandise.
- Maintain and improve brand and store image, and keep the shop visually appealing, ensuring the store remains clean and presentable at all times.
- Fulfill regular Associate duties in addition to Store Manager responsibilities.
- Assist with boutique and brand events as needed.
Requirements:
- 1+ years managerial experience in women's retail
- 1+ years experience in women's retail or customer service
- Must be available to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Advanced computer skills and proficient in Google Suites
- Know and love our brand & product, connect with our customers using great communication and relationship building skills.
- Amazing customer service and observation skills, including patience and active listening, to ensure customers feel heard and helped.
- Excellent time management skills to set realistic deadlines and follow specific steps to reach time-sensitive objectives.
- Strong leadership and people skills to take initiative as a manager.

Position Title: Retail & Jewelry Associate
Hours: Part-time, at least 3x a week
Pay: $15/hr + tips
Position Summary:
We are looking for hardworking, motivated individuals to join our team as a Part-Time Retail & Jewelry Associate! As a Retail & Jewelry Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service, assisting customers in selecting products, and maintaining the overall presentation and organization of our boutique.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Shifts split between working the shop (Retail Associate) and our jewelry bar (Jewelry Associate). Jewelry bar training will commence once you have demonstrated proficiency in the Retail Associate role of this position.
Customer Service: Greet, converse, and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner, providing product knowledge and guidance to meet their needs. We are a very customer-oriented company!
Customer Engagement: Follow up with customers and return customers post-purchase to ensure their satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Sales: Actively engage with customers to understand their preferences and make personalized product recommendations. Effectively communicate the features of our jewelry pieces. Inform customers of our handmade jewelry and jewelry bar as well as other in-store products.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our jewelry collection, materials, and craftsmanship to provide accurate and compelling information to customers. Knowledge of our jewelry along with the small businesses we carry is essential to succeed in this position.
Point of Sale (POS): Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using our POS system. Handle cash, credit cards, and other payment methods. Be able to perform all store opening and closing duties independently.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, restocking displays, and notifying management of low-stock items. Inventory is checked consistently.
Store Presentation: Ensure the all aspects of the shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Collaborate with the team to create attractive merchandise displays.
Assist with other tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Be able to commit and work at least 3x a week.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
- A passion for jewelry, fashion, and supporting small businesses!
